Recently, a batch of hose pumps customized for wastewater treatment applications by Hefei Huayun Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was shipped to Croatia. These units will be used in sludge transfer and chemical dosing systems at local municipal wastewater treatment plants, bringing the reliable performance of “Made in China” to inject new momentum into the country’s environmental protection efforts.

As the lead drafting unit for the hose pump industry standard, Huayun Machinery has carried out comprehensive optimization and upgrades to meet both the process requirements of Croatia’s wastewater treatment plants and the environmental standards of the European Union. The core components are made from food-grade 316L stainless steel and EU-certified eco-friendly hose materials, capable of withstanding the acidic, alkaline, and microbiological corrosion commonly found in wastewater treatment, while ensuring clean and contamination-free fluid transfer.

Taking into account Croatia’s cold winter climate, the R&D team has specially adapted the equipment for low-temperature environments, ensuring stable operation even in harsh conditions. This innovation solves the common issues with traditional equipment in low temperatures, such as hose hardening and seal failure.
